The smaller Romaiki Agora, i.e. the Roman Agora, is located nearby. A Turkish mosque called Fethiye Djami and the Tower of the Winds are located in this site.
The Ruins of Delphi
Exploring this site takes one day as it is three hours away from Athens if one takes a car or a bus. A trip to the ruins of Delphi is usually included in the travel deals to Athens. The main attraction of the site is the Temple of Apollo. This was where the High Priestess of Apollo would come up with inexplicable answers when she would be asked to predict the future. The Stadium and the Theatre of the sanctuary are also situated in this site. The artifacts found in this place are displayed in the Archaeological Museum of Delphi.
Other places that people usually visit when they come to Athens include Plaka and the National Archaeological Museum of Athens.
